I recently made myself get a gym membership. Why? Because I am a gym sloth and would like to be more like a gym rat (though the sloth is more fun and less gross tbh). And secretly why? It's the best "quick fix" I have to my anxiety and depression. Ironically enough, those two tend to thwart my every move at the gym. Like, I know everyone is looking at me. They are ALL looking at ME and I am red in the face and SWEATING. I sweat like I'm my own water park. Hence why I usually avoid such scenarios and instead eat my feelings via a spoon and a jar of Nutella. Until this time. Listen to my crack at getting back into a workout regime, my first time at a spin class, and how exercise balls are the Devil's balloons and need to gtfo.
